REPORTING RULES
DOCUMENT HARM. DO NOT CREATE MORE.
These rules protect reporters, reported people, and the integrity of the public record.
Submit only direct knowledge
Report what you experienced or directly witnessed. Do not present rumours, assumptions, or anonymous messages from others as your own knowledge.
Do not expose private information
Never include phone numbers, email addresses, student IDs, home addresses, medical records, counselling documents, intimate material, or unrelated third-party details.
Do not upload prohibited material
No sexual or intimate imagery, imagery involving minors, threats, instructions for violence, malware, impersonation, forged evidence, or copyrighted material you are not permitted to submit.
Use precise language
Describe conduct and impact. Do not automatically declare guilt, criminality, diagnosis, intent, or proven misconduct.
Names follow a fixed community threshold
A reported name remains hidden until three qualifying reports come from distinct anonymous origins. It then becomes public automatically. Safety administrators cannot publish names, suppress them below the threshold, or delay publication after the threshold is met.
Corrections matter
If something changes or you discover an error, use your recovery code to add a correction or withdraw the report.
